In addition wanna-be polka posers like the Polka Police, you can hear REAL polka bands like the local legend Barry Boyce Band and Alpensterne all the way from the north land of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Polka Police are busting Socctoberfest Friday, September 9.  Morrison Stadium opens at 4 p.m., the women play South Dakota at 5 p.m., and the men verse Pennsylvania at 7:30 p.m. The fully lederhosen clad Polka Police will play in the breaks.

Friday, July 29 the Polka Police will bust the Omaha German American Society‘s BUV Underground Brewers Klub Stein Night.  Doors open at 5 pm, Polka Police from 7:30-10:30 pm, $3 gets you in. Food and insanely-good German and home-brew beers will be available to purchase. (3717 S 120th St in Omaha, NE)

Saturday, July 30 will be an ultra-secret surprise bust.

Sunday, July 31 from 8:30-10:30 am the Polka Police will bust Benson Days The Indie 5 and 10 K Run outside Jake’s Bar in Benson. (6206 Maple St, Omaha, NE)

This Saturday, July 9 the Polka Police will bust the Twisted Tail in BeeBeeTown, Iowa from 8-midnight. All tails will be twisted.

 

It’s going to be a busy July 3rd for the Polka Police. First, they bust the St. Boniface 4th of July Parish Picnic in Westphalia, Iowa from 4:30-6:30 pm. Acoustic Mayhem takes the stage at 8.

Then, sirens wailing, they race to Omaha to bust the Lookout Lounge Punk Rock BBQ featuring punk rock legends, The Queers! It goes from 4:00pm until 11:00pm and the Polka Police go on around 9 pm. Here’s the lineup:
