Attention Cadets: The Polka Police are returning to the Twisted Tail this Friday, December 2 from 8 pm until midnight. The Twisted Tail is the premier polka venue in BeeBeeTown, Iowa.
Some have asked, ‘Why so late?’ Answer: the Tail’s food is great. You should come early for dinner and have a little PoPo for desert.
Attention Cadets: Head to the Veterans Auditorium in Harlan, Iowa this Saturday, November 12 from 5-7 pm as the Polka Police bust the Vet’s 50th year anniversary. The Burmeister boys have been playing at the Vets for around 30 years and cannot wait to come home. Oh – it is FREE and there will be SNACKS! Polka out!
Attention Cadets: Head the Remsen, Iowa for the last Oktoberfest of the the year – The Remsen Oktoberfest. The Polka Police are performing from 1-5 pm Saturday, October 29 at St. Mary’s High School in Remsen. In addition, the PoPo will be providing the music for the Prince/Princess contest at 1:30. Attention art-loving Cadets: The Polka Police are busting UNO Fine Arts on Sunday, October 23 from 5-6:30 pm at UNO’s Art Gallery in the Weber Fine Arts Building (6505 University Dr S, Omaha, Nebraska)
Jamie Burmeister (Lt. Lederhosen) is the featured artist for this event. The $15 admission goes to support UNO’s fine art program.
