You don’t have to be a member to come and join the fun as the Polka Police bust the Mug Club… but only Mug Club Members will get to take place in our door prize drawings at 6, 7 & 8pm, and only members get to take advantage of the 25% Mug Club Discount on all biers on tap they themselves drink. Attention Cadets: The Polka Police bust the Davies Amphitheater on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 7 pm. You will step into the Davies Amphitheater in Glenwood, IA and think ‘I can’t believe this is here.’ And then you will say out loud ‘I can’t believe the Polka Police are playing here!’

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police will be busting THE KANEKO‘s Generator Series: GAMES on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 7-7:30 pm. Check out Alexa Dexa and Kelley Sheehan as well as interactive art by Jamie Burmeister.

The theme for the evening will be GAMES: ‘Seriously playful music.
Join KANEKO and Omaha Under the Radar for the final 2018-19 Generator Series event, GAMES, featuring Alexa Dexa, Kelley Sheehan, Polka Police – a lineup of artists who take playful music very seriously, delighting audiences with their surprising confluence heavy sounds and fun-loving, “joie de vivre” performance styles. This interactive event merges experimental music with opera, noise, electronics, kiddie pools, accordions, no-input mixers, and more.’

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police will bust Tivoli Fest at the New Century Art Guild in Elk Horn, IA on Memorial Day Eve, Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 1-3 pm. Head to the Iowa’s Danish Villages because they have fun happenings all weekend.

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police will bust the Huber-Haus on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9 pm until 12 midnight.

You will love this German bier hall, DAS BOOT (be careful-they are slippery) and the rest of  Beer Corner USA nation including the Crescent Moon, Max & Joe’s, and Beertopia. We always get a couple giant pretzels and their award-winning Reuben. If I am sneaky enough I may get Lt. Lederhosen’s food as well!

Attention Cadets:  The Polka Police will once again bust the Lincoln Marathon on Sunday, May 5, 2019.  From 7:30-9:30 am the PoPo will bust all runners at the 6 mile mark at Sutter Place Mall which is at 48th Street and Highway 2.

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police will bust all the actual police and firefighters at the Guns & Hoses Weigh In Party on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 7-10 pm at the Thunderhead Brewing Taproom.

Come on down to see the fighters meet their opponents. $20 supports our first responders PLUS an awesome Fish & Chips diner from The Dire Lion food truck, A FREE BEER from Thunderhead, ‘music entertainment’ from the Polka Police, and a raffle ticket! We’ll also be selling merch and tickets to Guns & Hoses.

Here’s what Gun’s & Hoses Boxing Challenge is all about:
It’s red vs. blue, police vs. fire: who will take home the gold? Guns & Hoses is Omaha’s most exciting sporting event where police officers and firefighters duke it out in the ring and brawl for it all. This high-energy, entertaining evening awarded Omaha’s “Best Event” by Metro Magazine returns to Baxter Arena on Friday, April 26, 2019 and there will be fun, sweat, and cheers. And by joining in on the fun, you’re a hero to our men and women on the front lines as all proceeds are donated back to support first responder programs and public safety. It’s why thousands flock to the arena every year, and it’s why the fighters fight!
