Attention Cadets: Head to Turner Park this Friday, June 30, 2023 for the Night Market! The Polka Police will be a bustin’ from 8-10 pm but you should come early to hear a couple great Blues Ed bands. The Redwoods play at 6 pm followed by the Vertigo Blues Band – AMAZING!

Attention Cadets: Summer is here and it is time for PolishFest! Head to Beer Corner USA (Huber Haus & Crescent Moon) this Saturday, June 10, 2023 for PolishFest 2023. There is an incredible lineup of bands, food and, of course, Polish BEER! The Polka Police play from 9 – 11 pm but you should really check out the Barry Boyce Band from noon – 3 pm and Polka Express from 4 – 8 pm.

Attention Cadets: Spring is the season of BockFest and the Polka Police are busting another one! The PoPo are heading to Liederkranz in Grand Island, NE on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for their incredible BockFest. Of course, as with any great BockFest there will be BIER POKING of delicious bock biers along with some Polka Police from 3-7 pm. It will be BOCKING AWESOME!

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police are busting Salvatorfest at The Hall on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8-10 pm! Salvatorfest is a German holiday celebrating strong beer. Apparently long ago monks found that when ice was removed from their spring beer it became stronger! (Do your own fact checking). Come early to see Tank Anthony and The Boone Fiddler. We can’t wait!

Attention Cadets: Bockfest 2023 is happening at the Huber Haus and Crescent Moon on Saturday, April 1, 2023 and the Polka Police are a bustin’ it from Noon until 3 pm! This indoor/outdoor festival is happening rain or shine – so you can just plan to be there. Stay all day and night because there will be plenty of delicious German food and Bock biers to sustain you. There will even be traditional HOT POKERS in fiery pits that you can ‘poke’ into your Bock bier to caramelize the sugars (if you are into that sort of thing – we are of course). Stick around for the Barry Boyce Band from 4-9 pm – amazing.

So, to summarize: Bockfest on April Fools Day. There will be polking and poking – we are not joking. It is going to be BOCKIN’ AWESOME!

Attention Cadets: Sunday, March 19, 2023 is St. Joseph’s Day at Paddy McGown’s. Guess what? The Polka Police are going to bust it from 7-9 pm. Wear some red, cheer on the kid as he rolls out the barrel, and have your self some delicious, hand-made cabbage rolls.

Attention Cadets: The good folks at Full Fledged Brewery are kind enough to host a special event where you can get practiced up for St. Patrick’s Day. Head on down to St. Practice Day on Saturday, March 4, 2023 because Polka Police are going to bust it from 7-10 pm. Practice makes perfect.

Attention Cadets: It is Half Way to Oktoberfest! The Crescent Moon and Huber Haus are having a party and the Polka Police are going to bust it. Head to the Crescent Moon and Huber Haus on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5-9 pm. Finally you do not have to choose: Barry Boyce will be downstairs at the Huber Haus and the PoPo will be upstairs at the Crescent Moon (1st time for us) from 6-9 pm. It may only be 1/2 way but we are ALL IN on this one!

Attention Cadets: Make some plans for New Years Eve … then CANCEL THEM and spend the night with the Polka Police! The PoPo will bust der Bierhaus Maisschäler (Corn Husker Beer House) Nye Years Eve Polka Party in Lincoln, NE on New Years Eve, Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 9 pm until Midnight.

It promises to be a magical evening filled with excitement, wonderment and beer.
