Attention Cadets: Head to Audubon, IA Thursday, July 18, 2024 because the Polka Police are busting the Audubon County Fair from 7-8 pm! It promises to be a magical evening under the big tent.

Attention Cadets: We recently lost one of the good ones. Tim Lynch – AKA ‘The Dude’ was a friend to the Barchen Beer Garden as well as a promising PoPo Cadet. The Polka Police are going to help celebrate The Dude’s life and raise some money to help his daughters pay for college. Head to the Barchen Beer Garden on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2-6 pm and join the Polka Police in toasting The Dude.

Attention Cadets: ‘What is PresFest?’ you ask. We don’t know either but, gosh darn it, we are going to find out! On Sunday, May 19, 2024 the Polka Police are going to bust PresFest at Joslyn Castle in Omaha from 12:30-2 pm. In addition to the PoPo you can hear the Hector Anchando Band, get your boogie on with the Jitterbugs, and enjoy tons of food and fun for the whole family. PresFest!

Attention Cadets: Head to Grand Island this weekend for a super-duper fun Bockfest at the Liederkranz! The Polka Police will be a bustin’ from 4-8 pm at the Liederkranz in Grand Island, NE on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

On Friday, April 27, 2024 the PoPo will be busting Hillcrest Country Estates Grand Lodge from 1-2 pm.

Attention Cadets: The Polka Police are busting a Comedy Showcase featuring Austin Anderson at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak, IA on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 7 pm. Austin is super funny and the PoPo are … gonna be there. We’ll see what happens.

Attention Cadets: Time is a flying by. In fact we are already 1/2 way to Oktoberfest at Barchen Beer Garden so the Polka Police are going to bust it! It is all going down on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 3-7 pm – food, games, music and BEER on Barchen’s beautiful beer garden!

Attention Cadets: Legend has it that in the spring the monks awoke to find their biers partially frozen. This made it both sweeter and STONGER. Those crafty guys had a brilliant idea: ‘Let’s poke it with our red-hot poker.’ The resulting delicious smoky caramelization became a BockFest tradition. (do your own fact checking).

The Polka Police will be getting their bock poked outside at Beer Corner USA’s BockFest on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 6-9 pm – rain or shine.

Attention Cadets: Once again the Polka Police are busting St. Joseph’s Day at Paddy McGowns on Tuesday, March 19, 2024! Plan to skip work, school or whatever you usually do because the PoPo are on early from 3-6 pm. Stick around for the Barry Boyce Band from 7:30-10:30 pm.

Attention Cadets: St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and we need to face the facts: the Polka Police have been in hibernation MUCH too long and they are OUT OF PRACTICE. There is still time for all to get back into prime drinking shape before the big green event. To help us all out the good folks at Full Fledged Brewery are hosting St. Practice Day on Saturday, March 9, 2024 starting at noon! The Polka Police will be falling off the wagon from 7-9 pm (we have a lot of bunker brew saved up). Together we can do this!
